Surround Sound Complete!Jun 26, 2011
By Ryan I bought this product off Amazon. It's basically what it says to be, it splits audio into 2 separate channels.
If you want to plug it into an iPod and have 2 headphones come out, that works great.
Personally I bought this because I had a great idea. I put the Adaptor in my 3.5mm jack on the back of my computer, then was able to run 2 pairs of speakers at the same time. I put some on my desk and the rest behind me, and it was instant surround sound.
A good thing about this adaptor is that it's small so it doesnt take up a lot of space if you're working in tight corners. I'll probably end up buying a few more of these so i can keep adding speakers and make the surround sound better and better.

By TJF Simply does what you would expect: Takes a stereo signal and splits it into two. As far as I can tell there is no quality loss.
For mine it took a bit of force to get the male ends into the female adapters, but once you do it loosens up works just fine.
