Yes, it's a pair.Aug 05, 2010

This is a pair as pictured, not a single unit as described. Since a pair of splitter/joiners is what you need, this is a good thing. Note that this is the version you want if you have a patch-bay and keystone jacks. For more casual wiring you'd want a pair of F->FF splitter/joiners.

worked like a charmAug 04, 2010
By James J. Ketterer Works great for creating 2 network jack where you only have 1. Won't work with 1GB/s connections or for POE applications though since these need all 8 wires.

Item probably works, but does not suit my needs.Apr 20, 2011
By CasieLeRae I assume that the product works correctly, so I cannot give the product a bad rating. The item just did not suit my needs. I was trying to place one splitter in the back of the cable modem and connect two ethernet cables to each port in order to use both Internet on my laptop and my boyfriend's XBox LIVE at the same time. This did not work. Maybe someone with more knowledge about this technology could get this to work. For me, though, I just went ahead and spent an extra ten dollars and bought a 5-port router/switch box instead. Hope this helps!

Cable Unlimited Network SplitterApr 05, 2010
By Trevor E. Hall Used on a Cisco VOIP system. It ran the phone with no problem and supplied another computer connection on the same Cat 5 cable. The phone we were using does not have a PC jack and this supplied a jack.
Works exactly as it should!Feb 19, 2012
By Bryce of Oregon These cable splitters are ideal for when you really need to have two Ethernet cables run, but can't (in my case because it was buried above a vaulted ceiling). A pair of splitters will create two logical network cables where only one is run.
You need to keep in mind that this does not replace a hub, if you need to have two connections to a network. That's just not what it's designed to do...
