This product won't even install on Windows 7 - and yes, I tried to install it in compatibility mode for XP, Vista and Windows 2000. This is the first program I've ever had a problem with on Windows 7. Piece of crap.

What isn't specified is that the sounds the Hello Kitty will make will come through your speakers/headphones. AND...when the Hello Kitty does make movements and sounds, the you'll hear the grinding movement of the doll itself--it cheapens the whole effect. This is also not an item you can just plug in to any laptop/pc and use. You'll have to download the software from the CD.
Again, this item is not as cute as it seems...

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows(R) XP, ME, 2000,Windows(R) 98 SE (Second Edition), Pentium 200 Mhz, Power PC or higher processor, 32 MB of Ram, 40 MB of hard-disk space, CD-rom or DVD-rom drive, USB port on computer, Speakers or headphone output from PC - this is taken from the software that comes with this. Neither website for the manufacturer or the US distributor have any link regarding updated drivers. I sent them an email 5 days ago and have still received no response. So, if you're a code jockey and can frankenstein up your own drivers for this, major kudos to you. For the rest of us schlubs, though, on my Win7 laptop, I got a notification that the executable file for the installation was invalid and to check whether I needed to run the 32 or 64 bit version.
